160- WHOEVER COMES WITH A GOOD DEED, WILL BE GIVEN TEN TIMES AS MUCH AND HE WHOEVER COMES WITH A BAD DEED, WILL BE RECOMPENSED WITH JUST AS MUCH, AND THEY WILL NOT BE TREATED UNJUSTLY.

Allah the Highest treats us generously, as well as compassionately.  The good deed is rewarded with ten times as much.  This was increased later to seven hundred times as much  THE PARABLE OF THOSE WHO SPEND OF THEIR WEALTH IN THE CAUSE OF ALLAH IS THAT OF A GRAIN OF CORN, FROM WHICH GROW FORTH SEVEN EARS, IN EVERY EAR THERE ARE SEVEN GRAINS, AND ALLAH INCREASES THESE MANY MORE FOLDS FOR WHOM HE WILLS, FOR ALLAH IS ALL EMBRACING AND IS ALL KNOWING”.   (S: 2 A: 261)

Indeed, if a person intends to do a good deed but could not, he will be rewarded with the reward for a good deed.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “He who intends to do a good deed but does not, it will written down as a good deed, when he does it, it will be written down as ten good deeds, to seven hundreds and many more.  He who intends to do a bad deed and does not, it will be written down for him as a good deed, and he who intends to do a bad deed and does it, it will be written down as one bad deed or Allah will pardon”.  (Ahmed & Bukhari & Muslim)

Allah’s generosity is even greater rewarding those excessively do wrong, and then repent and amend their ways, by turning all their bad deeds into good deeds.  They start this new era in their lives with credit, not from the zero point.  Allah the Highest said about the Slaves of the Merciful: “AND THOSE WHO DO NOT TAKE ANOTHER GOD BESIDES ALLAH, DO NOT KILL THE SOUL HAS FORBIDDEN TO BE KILLED EXCEPT FOR A JUST CAUSE AND DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, FOR WHOEVER DOES THAT IS COMMITTING GREAT SINS * HE PUNISHMENT ON THE DAY OF JUSTICE WILL BE DOUBLED, AND WILL BE ETERNAL AND HUMILIATING * EXCEPT FOR THOSE WHO REPENT, BELIEVE AND DO GOOD DEEDS, THOSE ALLAH TURNS THEIR BAD DEEDS INTO GOOD DEEDS, AND ALLAH IS MOST FORGIVING AND MOST MERCIFUL * FOR HE WHO REPENTS AND DOES GOOD DEEDS, HE IS TRULY REPENTING TO ALLAH”.  (S: 25 A: 68-71)

This treatment is the extreme of generosity and compassion, and who else should we expect it from except Allah the Most Merciful the Most Compassionate.

An Arab nomad asked Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him if Allah the Highest will personally judge us.  When the answer was: Yes, he said: “not to worry then, for the honourable and generous pardons whenever he is able’.
