Araf 32

32- WHO IS HE WHO FORBIDES THE GOOD THINGS WHICH ALLAH BROUGHT FORTH FOR HIS SLAVES AND THE GOOD AND PLEASENT PROVISIONS? SAY: “ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION IT IS ONLY AND PURELY FOR THOSE WHO HAD BELIEVED DURING THE LOWER LIFE”.

The first half of this Ayah is a very important statement concerning the prohibitions of what we have on Earth or provisions as well  as pleasures.

No one is allowed to prohibit the good things Allah the Highest gives us on Earth except Allah the Highest Himself.  This authority was not given to any one else. 

The Prohibitions are stated in the Quran very clearly, such as; the animal  that died before being slaughtered, the animals which has other than the name of Allah invoked on them when slaughtered, the pig, the running blood, the animal which fell to its death, beaten to death or Head butted to death.  Also Allah the Highest forbids, gambling in all its forms, intoxicants like alcoholic drinks and drugs of abuse.

Allah the Highest stated in another Ayah the women we can not marry, like, mother, daughter, sister, etc.

The Prohibitions are clearly stated, and what is not stated to be forbidden is allowed.  The Rule is Allawance and Prohibition is the Exception.

Allah the Highest forbids actions not articles and items. Allah the Highest forbids eating or drinking the prohibited foor or drinks, but not its use otherwise.  For example; we are not allowed to drink alcoholic drings, but we can use Alcohol in industry, in medicine and any other uses provided it is not ingested. 

We are not allowed eat the animal that died before being slaughtered, however we may use its skin or fur.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him saw a dead sheep thrown away; he said: “Why dont you benefit from its skin”.

We are forbidden to drink blood, but we eat meat which has been cooked, but which still had some blood inside it.  We are also not forbidden from having blood transfusion, whole blood or some of the blood products.

We are forbidden sexual intercourse only in certain situations; out of marriage or with any of the women we are forbidden to marry.

We find that the prohibitions cover only few actions concerning some items around us.  The statements of the prohibitions in the Quran are clear, and there is no room for opinions.  Any clarifications were done by Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him.

Prohibitions are not done by inference, or any indirect statement or actions that are open to interpretations.

All the good things we have on Earth, the believers and disbelievers share.  The pleasures of the Hereafter are only and purely for the believers, the disbelievers will have no share of.  The pleasures of the Hereafter are much better and far superior to the pleasures of this life.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said that Allah the Highest said: “I have prepared for my righteous slaves,  what no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of and have never been imagined by a human heart”.

We ask Allah the Highest to be among them.
