29- SAY: “WHETHER YOU HIDE WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART OR REVEAL IT, ALLAH KNOWS IT, AND KNOWS WHAT IS IN THE HEAVENS AND WHAT IS IN THE EARTH, AND ALLAH HAS POWER OVER ALL THINGS”

30- THE DAY WHEN EVERY SOUL WILL FIND WHATEVER GOOD IT HAS DONE PRESENT, AND WISHES IT IS A LONG DISTANCE FROM WHATEVER EVIL IT HAS DONE.  ALLAH WARNS YOU OF HIMSELF, AND ALLAH IS KIND TO THE SLAVES.

Allah the Highest is telling us again that He knows every thing about us, even what is inside us like our thoughts, desires and intentions.  This is as well as every thing in the Heavens and in the Earth that has happened, is happening and will happen.  Allah the Highest witnesses every thing, hidden or revealed.  All our deeds, good and bad, we will have to face on the Day of Resurrection when we see our account.  Allah the Highest said: “WHATEVER YOU ARE INVOLVED IN, RECITE THE QURAN, OR DO A DEED, WE ARE WITNESSES AS YOU CARRY IT OUT, NOT AS MUCH AS THE WEIGHT OF AN ATOM ESCAPES YOUR LORD’S ATTENTION ON EARTH OR IN THE HEAVENS, NEITHER ANY THING SMALLER OR BIGGER THAN THAT, BUT IS IN A CLEAR BOOK”.  (S:10 A:61)

Also Allah the Highest said: “AND EVERY MAN’S FATE WE FASTENED TO HIS OWN NECK, AND ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION WE WILL BRING FORTH A BOOK FOR HIM WHICH HE WILL FIND SPREAD OPEN * READ YOUR OWN BOOK, YOU ARE SUFFICIENT TO TAKE ACCOUNT FOR YOURSELF” (S:17 A:13,14)

All these Ayahs enforce each other.

The believers who were sincere in worship of Allah the Highest and who did good deeds will find their deeds to be assets.  They are also a source of pleasure and comfort.  They will be happy and pleased with their deeds.  Allah the Highest said about them: “ON THAT DAY YOU WILL BE BROUGHT FORTH, NOTHING WILL BE HIDDEN ABOUT YOU * AS FOR HE WHO IS GIVEN HIS BOOK IN HIS RIGHT HAND, HE WILL SAY: ‘TAKE MY BOOK AND READ IT * FOR I KNEW THAT I WILL FACE MY ACCOUNT’ * HE WILL ENJOY A PLEASURABLE LIFE * IN HIGH GARDENS * IT’S FRUIT IS NEAR BY * EAT AND DRINK WITH PLEASURE, A RECOMPENSE FOR WHAT YOU DID IN THE DAYS GONE BY” (S:6 A:18-24)

The disbelievers and evil doers will be receiving their account book by their left hand, and they will not be pleased.  In fact they will wish that they have never been resurrected, but remained dead.  Allah the Highest said about them: “AND AS FOR HE WHO IS GIVEN HIS BOOK IN HIS LEFT HAND, HE WILL SAY: ‘I WISH I WAS NEVER GIVEN MY BOOK * OR KNEW ABOUT MY ACCOUNT * I WISH DEATH WAS THE END * MY WEALTH IS NOT HELPING ME * MY POWER GONE FROM ME’ * TAKE HIM SAND AND TIE HIM UP * THEN BURN HIM IN THE HELL-FIRE * THEN MARCH HIM IN A CHAIN SEVENTY CUBITS LONG” (S:69 A:25-32)

Allah the Highest is warning us and his warning is very clear and detailed.  In the mean time reminds us of His Kindness.   One should believe first before hoping for Allah’s Mercy.  This warning is in itself Kindness and Mercy from Allah the Highest.
