81- AND AS YOUR LORD TOOK THE COVENANT OF THE PROPHETS: “AS I HAVE GIVEN YOU THE BOOKS, THE WISDOM, THERE WILL COME TO YOU A MESSENGER, CONFIRMING WHAT YOU HAVE, YOU SHOULD BELIEVE IN HIM AND SUPPORT HIM.  DO YOU AGREE, AND DO YOU TAKE MY COVENANT?”  THEY SAID: “WE AGREE”.  HE SAID: “THEN BEAR WITNESS AND I BEAR WITNESS WITH YOU”.

82- WHOEVER TURNS AWAY AFTER THAT, THEY ARE THE TRANSGRESSORS.

Allah the Highest gave the prophets peace upon them the knowledge of His books and the Wisdom along with the Prophecy.  Part of this knowledge is the prophecy concerning the last of the prophets and messenger prayer and peace upon them all, who is Mohamed prayer and peace upon him.

His message will confirm the previous message.  Allah the Highest took the prophets covenants to believe in a support the last prophet and messenger.  This covenant passes on to their followers, who should confirm and believe in Mohamed prayer and peace upon him.  This covenant and commitment was not fulfilled by many of the prophet’s followers.

They were commanded to support, confirm and follow him as his prophecy was the final prophecy and his message is the last and final message.  Allah the Highest said: “TODAY, I HAVE COMPLETED YOUR RELIGION FOR YOU, AND PERFECTED MY BOUNTY UPON YOU AND AM SATISFIED WITH ISLAM AS YOUR RELIGION”.  (S: 5 A: 3)

Also of the names of the Quran is the ‘Forqan’, which is what clarifies the right from the wrong.

Abd Allah Ibn Thabet, one of Allah’s messenger’s companions reported that: “Omar Ibn El-Khatab went to Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him and said: Allah’s messenger, I passed by a brother from Bano Qurizah (a Jewish tribe) and he wrote parts of the Torah for me, shall I show it to you”.  Allah’s messenger’s face changed prayer and peace upon him. I said: “Do you not see what is showing on the face of Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him?” Omar Ibn El-Khatab said: “I happily accept Allah as our Lord, Islam as our Religion and Mohamed prayer and peace upon him as our messenger”.  The face of Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him showed relief, and then he said: “By Him who has my soul in His Hand, if you rise in the morning and find Musa (Moses) amongst you, and you follow him and leave me, you will be misguided.  You are my share of the nations and I am your share of the prophets”.  (A: 3; 470)
