149- YOU WHO BELIEVE, IF YOU OBEY THE DISBELIEVERS, THEY TURN YOU BACK ON YOUR HEALS, AND YOU WILL LOSERS.

150- BUT ALLAH IS YOUR ALLY AND SUPPORTER, AND HE IS THE BEST SUPPORTER.

151- WE WILL THROW FEAR INTO THE HEARTS OF THE DISBELIEVERS, BECAUSE OF THEIR TAKING PARTNERS WITH ALLAH, FOR WHICH HE SENT DOWN NO AUTHORITY.  THEIR ABODE IS THE FIRE, AND EVIL ABODE IT IS FOR THE EVIL-DOERS.

A clear warning from Allah the Highest to the Muslim Nation that if we follow the ways and foot steps of the disbelievers, we will loss out.  Even if we make some short lived gains in this life in a material sense, we will make huge losses in the Hereafter in every sense.

Allah the Highest reassures us of being our Allay and supporter, and if He supports us no one can defeat us. Allah the Highest said: “IF ALLAH SUPPORTS YOU, NO ONE CAN DEFEAT YOU, AND IF HE LETS YOU DOWN, WHO IS HE WHO CAN SUPPORT YOU AFTER HIM, AND IN ALLAH THE BELIEVERS SHOULD PUT THEIR TRUST”.  (S: 3 A: 16)

One of the ways Allah the Highest supports us is to throw the fear of us into our enemy’s hearts.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “I have been given five no one has been given before me; every prophet was sent to his people specially, and I have been sent to the red and the black, and I have been permitted to take the bounty of war which was not permitted to any one before me, and the whole earth has been made pure and a mosque for me, so whenever time of Salah comes a man can pray wherever he is, and I have been supported by fear going before me as if marching for a month, and I have been given the intercession”.  (M: Masajed; 3 & B: Salah; 56 & Da: Seyar; 28)

Fear is a feeling which can weaken the person or a group of people, and Allah the Highest uses it against His enemies.  Striking fear into the disbeliever’s hearts, which weakens them.  The longer the fear goes one, the more is its effect.  Therefore, striking fear in the hearts of some people for a month can weaken them and their resolve considerably.

In the mean time, reassuring people and giving them confidence and strengthening their resolve, which strengthen an army and makes it stand firm and united against their enemy.  This is one of the ways by which Allah the Highest strengthens His people in a fight.
