169- AND DO NOT THING THAT THOSE KILLED IN THE CAUSE OF ALLAH ARE DEAD, THEY ARE BUT ALIVE WITH THEIR LORD AND ARE PROVIDED FOR.

170- REJOICING BECAUSE OF THE BOUNTY ALLAH PROVIDED FOR THEM, AND GIVING GLADE TIDINGS TO THOSE THEY LEFT BEHIND, THAT THERE IS NO FEAR UPON THEM, NOR WILL THEY BE SADDENED.

171- REJOICING BECAUSE OF THE BOUNTY FROM ALLAH AND IN HIS GRACE, INDEED ALLAH DOES NOT DENY THE BELIEVERS THEIR REWARD.

Those who die in the cause of Allah (the Martyrs) have a different status from the rest of the dead.  They are living in Paradise.  They enjoy what the living enjoys in life of physical pleasures.  Therefore, they do not wait until the Day of Resurrection for their reward, but have their reward in Paradise immediately.

Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said about the martyrs: “Their souls are inside green birds, which rest to chandeliers hanging from Throne.  They go about in the Paradise to wherever they wish, and then return to these chandeliers.  Your Lord looked at them and said: “Do you desire any thing?”  They said: “What can we possibly desire when we go wherever we desire in Paradise”.  Allah asked them the same question three times, and when they found that they will not be left before answering, they said: “O Lord, we wish for our souls to return to our bodies, so that we may be killed in your cause again”.  When Allah found that they do not want any thing, they were left”.  (M:Emran;121 & T:Tafseer Sorah 3;19 & Ma:Janaez;4 & A:6;386)

In another Hadith, it was reported that the martyrs said: “Who will inform our brothers that we are alive in Paradise? And that we are provided for with substance so that they do not give up Jihad and do not lose heart fighting?  Allah the Highest said: “I will inform them for you” Then Allah the Highest sent down ‘AND DO NOT THING THAT THOSE KILLED IN THE CAUSE OF ALLAH ARE DEAD ………………………’ (D:Jihad;27 & A:1;266)

It is clear that the martyrs will be granted immediate entry to Paradise.  Indeed, all their sins will be forgiven, except for his debts.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “Every sin will be forgiven for the martyr except the debt”.  Meaning the debts he made no provision for repaying, nor did his inheritors paid.  (M:Emarah;119,120 & T:Fadael Al-Jihad;13 & N:Jihad;32 & Mal:Jihad;31)

As there was money available in Beat El-Mal (treasury), Allah’s messenger paid the debt of the deceased, out of compassion and love for the Muslims.  Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “Whoever dies leaving debt, it is my responsibility to repay it”.  (B:Nafaqat;15 & M:Jomaah;43)

The debt of the deceased used to be paid from his estate.  If he does not leave any estate or if his estate was not enough to cover it, it will be repaid from Beat El-Mal.

The martyrs are rejoicing in Allah’s bounty in Paradise.  They enjoy all it’s delights and pleasures, in the mean time, they feel no sadness, upset, sorrow or grief.  All negative feelings of that kind are not felt in Paradise, only pleasure and joy.
