26- ALLAH WISHES TO CLARIFY THINGS FOR YOU, AND GUIDE YOU TO THE WAYS OF THOSE BEFORE YOU, AND WANTS TO PARDON YOU, AND ALLAH IS ALL KNOWING AND MOST WISE.
27- ALLAH WISHES TO PARDON YOU, WHILE THOSE WHO FOLLOW THEIR DESIRES WISH YOU TO GO FAR ASTRAY.
28- ALLAH WISHES TO MAKE THINGS EASIER FOR YOU, FOR MANKIND WAS CREATED WEAK.
Allah the Highest is telling us that these rule and laws are for our guidance and benefit. Through Allah’s guidance, we have a way of doing what is right and righteous. The same rules and laws were given to other nations before us.
Some people might guide us otherwise, not just on the rules of marriage and inheritance, but also on other Islamic rule and laws. If we obey them, we shall go astray.
We will be told that these rules are outdated, or unfair to women who inherit half the man, or unfair to women as men can have more than one wife. Allah the Highest did not make laws for an era which will not suite another. Allah’s rules and law are eternal like He is eternal. Allah the Highest said: “AND IF YOU OBEY MOST OF THOSE ON EARTH, THE WILL LEAD YOU ASTRAY OF ALLAH’S WAY, FOR THEY FOLLOW NOTHING BUT FANCIES AND THEY ARE BUT LYING”. (S: 6 A: 116)
Allah the Highest created us and knows our weaknesses, and makes these laws for us considering these weaknesses. Allah the Highest desires to make things easier for us, to make our lives and practices of our religion easy.
Aysha Allah’s messenger’s wife reported: “Whenever Allah’s messenger had to choose between two things, he would choose the easiest of them, unless it is a sin”. (D: Adab; 4 & Mal: Hosn Al-Khloq; 2)
Indeed, this principle should apply to all aspect of the religion. Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “This religion is for ease not hardship”. (B: Eman; 29 & N: Eman; 28 & A: 5; 69)
Also Allah’s messenger prayer and peace upon him said: “we have been sent to make things easier, not to make them harder”. (B: Adab; 80 & T: Taharah; 112 & N: Takarah; 44 & A: 2; 239,282)
Allah’s messenger sent two of his companions to Yemen governing, and instructing them he said: “Make matters easier and do not make them harder, and give people glade tidings, and do not frighten them”. (B: Magazi; 60 & Da: Moqademah; 24)
Allah the Highest desires us to live our life and practice our religion with ease and without hardship. Allah the Highest said: “ALLAH DESIRES EASE NOT HARDSHIP FOR YOU”. (S: 2 A: 185)
